May events

May events included celebrating Leo's birthday, Alivia's preschool graduation and mother's Day!

We have been enjoying some wonderful family time with the addition of sweet Abigail! Big sister Alivia loves to read books, sing to, and lay on a blanket with Abigail. We were able to take a few walks and play at the park when the weather was warm. We also made Abigail's first trip to the zoo. Although she mostly ate and slept the whole time. Alivia can now climb up to the tallest slide in the playground area and she did that over and over again.

We also were able to visit my family and new baby cousin Lucy. We were invited to my cousin Brenda's house for her son's fifth birthday. They did an egg hunt with prizes. Alivia was so excited! She found six eggs with prize tickets inside and she told everyone she got to pick six prizes! It was so cute!

winter update

Alivia is starting to do a couple of new things since turning four! It is really exciting for me to see her

1.Write her name

2. Read sight words with out prompting!

Like the time we were at church and she read "I am the" from the "I am the Lost and Found" sign.

3. Drawing people

What we have been up to this winter....Alivia had her first gym class last week and I was glad for her to have some space to run around besides our living room! She has also been invited to several birthdays from friends in her class at a play place nearby. So we have been finding ways to stay active. We also have been visiting libraries a lot and having playdates!

Me: I am 32 weeks today and starting to feel a little uncomfortable and tired. Thankfully, I can still zip my coat, but I am not sure how much longer that will last! I am looking forward to a pedicure on Saturday with my friend Emily! Dan and I have been organizing and boxing up things to get rid of! There is now lots of room in Alivia's closet for baby stuff. We just need a decent winter weekend that we can dig around in the garage and bring in baby stuff!

Okay these first two pictures are from Thanksgiving, but I am not sure if I shared them. Alivia had such fun with the cousins!!
