First Day of Preschool!

Alivia's first day of preschool was on Thursday. She was ready and had no problem saying good-bye to me. When I picked her up she said she had a fun time. They went to the gym and played and made raccoon headbands from the story kissing hand. She also said she picked the penguin and she had to stay with the penguin. After more prompting I found out she picked the penguin to sit on at circle time and she must of had to be reminded to stay on her penguin!

Her teacher Mrs. Krentz had this to say:
"Alivia had a great first day of school!  She was a kind friend to the other students, and had fun doing many different activities in the classroom."

Butterfly Garden and summer days!

 

Here are a few things we have been up to the last month.

 

I took Alivia and her friend Aurora to the butterfly garden. We looked at butterflies, had a picnic lunch and stopped for ice cream on the way home! It was a fun trip and they both did a great job listening!

 

 

I taught Alivia a few site words since she knows her letter sounds. Then I remembered I had an easy read book with the same words repeated and pictures to help. Alivia was so proud to read a Book!

 

 

 

 Alivia also had her show week for Itty Bitty broadway, but I am unable to upload the video. It may be too long. So here are a few pictures.
